CyberConduits :: Cyberconduits are networked, interactive lamps. CyberConduits :: Here the electronics module is shown separated from the enclosure. CyberConduits :: The devices were rendered in 3D during design prior to manufacture. CyberConduits :: The custom sensor module incorporates four pyroelectric motion sensors.
CyberConduits :: Each device has two RGB LED modules, each with 12 LED's. CyberConduits :: The enclosures are made of sandblasted acrylic tubing and nickel-plated CNC machined alumnium. CyberConduits :: Elise Co examines an electronics module during firmware development. CyberConduits :: Each device has an Ethernet interface with its own IP address.

CyberConduits are networked, lamp-like devices that display online activity data. They transmit the activity of people in their proximity to a dynamically updated website, allowing physical visitors and online visitors to sense each others' presence.

CyberConduits were installed throughout the Samsung Experience showroom in Manhattan. Units were designed, constructed, tested, and installed 3 months from start of brainstorming.

Blackdust provided concept development, electronics design, mechanical design, 3D CAD, fabrication, testing, and installation.
